Buster Posey

Local San Francisco news says he will announce his retirement from Baseball tomorrow.

They said the Giants would have probably picked up his contract option next year for 22 million dollars. He's 34 years old.

Love Buster.

He has had a lot of injuries the past few years.

Thanks for the years behind the plate!

I'm sure he's financially well off enough. He's made about 100 million and I doubt he's the kind of person who has blown it on hookers, fast cars and bad investments.

If he wants to still be involved with baseball, I'm sure he could name his job with the Giants. He may make a great manager someday. Meanwhile, he's got two sets of twins to raise, one set biological and one set adopted. He's also heavily involved with a Children's Cancer charity. One of the most decent human beings in pro sports. He will be missed.

Know nothing about the guy, but if he can walk on a $22MM contract option....I like him.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when he talks baseball with Kai Correa.
