It feels like the Cards were lucky getting the Diamond Backs now

Because they are showing signs of life. I figure they are due for a good stretch of games.

They for sure don't look like a team that has lost 14 of the last 15.

they are still playing a hard 9.

Hope the Cardinals win while the DBs are down because they will be better - wouldn't want an eight games in three weeks schedule against them in September

and then regresses again. Very inconsistent this season. Of course his best days are behind him and he's had a good career, but you don't know what to expect when he takes the mound these days.

The Dodgers are in something of a funk lately; your team stands a decent chance of splitting the series.

I'll be watching, and rooting for your Cards.

That team, the "Good Cardinals"? Well, they only show up about half the time.
