and I live in San Diego.

Plus that stupid downtown ball park wrecks havoc when there are games...congested traffic, major roads closed during the games....Parking is non-existent.

Similar to where the Astros were a few years ago. They probably won't be contenders this year, but they're going to be good for a while.

Seems like farm systems hit gold every few years. First it was the Royals and then the Astros. Apparently the Braves system leaped agead of schedule last year.

The New England Patriots and San Antonio Spurs should be models. Both have coaching legends, neither have anything close to the highest paid player at ANY position. Yet, year in and year out, they are among the last standing and almost always make the modern era (salary cap era) playoffs.
