I was thinking it might have been Nolan Ryan. He wasn't on very good teams for many years. n/t

Kidding. Phil was cool. Because of him and Wilbur Wood, i learned to throw a knuckleball as a kid. Of course, no coach would let a kid throw that pitch in a game, so it was just for fun. Besides, i wasn't a pitcher, i was a centerfielder. The knuckleball doesn't work too well from out there!
