Matt Carpenter has hit .334/.434/.714 since May 15th.

And now leads the NL with 31 HRs.

In a different (baseball centric) forum I said that MARP looked like a statue at the plate

I compared him unfavorably with 50 year old softball players...

On Base % - Hits, walks, Hit by pitch, or reach on error - .434

Slugging % - .714 - How many bases per at bat
