I mean, really, it was only 9 innings.

Try reading the book "Bottom of the 33rd" if you want to know what a genuinely long baseball game is all about.

ran into Game 5 or so of last year’s World Series, and I just got such a feel for them!!! Addison and Javier and Contreras and of course that Ant’ny Rizzo and Mr. Bryant and Mr. Heyward...

Watching last year’s series was the ONLY break I have gotten from the abysmal pre and post election agony...so...hate baseball, LOVE CUBS!!

was moving in slow motion.

I also had a fleeting notion that both teams were playing to lose. And some of the dramatic flash points were perfectly timed for emotional effect. Great game.
