!930's -40s -50s and 60s I would guess. I would have never guessed Ted Williams. I would have guessed Ty Cobb or Willie Mays but they only played in 3 decades I suppose.

I read that as nobody stole a base for 40 years until Williams did. I was thinking, wow, what a drought!
