Peacock and regional baseball streaming:

I just subscribed to Peacock to stream the Winter Olympics and noticed there was an add on to watch local/regional baseball on the Comcast sports channel. In my case, that would be Giants baseball (when it resumes). About $18.00 a month, plus the Peacock fee. That's better than YouTubeTV at $83.00 a month. And better than MLB TV because it's not a yearly subscription. I can pick and choose which months to subscribe -- the entire season or just the months with the best match-ups.

Is this new? Anybody here done anything like this in past seasons?

Same price to get the Rockies internet stream (not Peacock). I used to get the games for no extra charge. And I refuse to pay extra for a service that takes a long time to start and change channels. Also the Rockies suck and the owners don't care. So neither do I!

I can't believe that I didn't go into a rant about this last year. Now it is creeping into all markets. Must be a Republican plot!
