It's not that they're blowing the Guardians away. The games have been close. But all it takes is the few extra players Yankees are paying megabucks to like Judge, Soto and Cole. And Boone and the coaching staff are pulling the right strings -- one step ahead of Vogt, it seems.

Tom Hamilton reported on radio that Judge and Stanton are taking extra batting practice four hours before game time from a pitching machine placed from different angles on the mound, delivering pitches at different speeds and with different movement.
