Steven A. Smith is gonna catch hell on "First Take" tomorrow...

Last edited Tue Oct 17, 2023, 07:55 AM - Edit history (1)

as Dawn Staley, South Carolina women's basketball coach threw out the first ball at the Phillies v D-Backs game and had no trouble reaching the plate. It looked like it was slightly high even...no trouble getting there.

Unlike Steven A's pitch which dived immediately into the grass in front of the mound and the ball dribbled and bounced to the plate.

Molly and the crew will be ragging him hard.

10 minutes of practice from 20 paces, and there's no way a former athlete should be bouncing it in.
I'm 67 and can still easily throw a ball 60 feet. He's 11 years younger than me. Same age as my sister.
Geez, she can probably throw a ball 60 feet & she's barely a hundred pounds!
