4. The 265 was the first, then the 283, 327 and finally the 350.

all descendants of the 265.

I think there were bored out 283 variants... 301 and 302 came along in the early '00s...first by performance shops then by GM itself.

5. My 65 Chevy had a 283, the lead sled, I was up in Maine, and it was down 3 quarts, great engine for a moron.

the long sweeping rear window, that was stunning. It also had a 283, if I had that and our 57 Impala, I'd be a happy camper.

10. Okay, but you could argue that both the 67 and 68 had triple taillights, only the 67's were classy; the 68's were stupid
