Related: About this forumAnyone interested in a 1953 Willy Aero-Lark?
Unique looking little car, been many many years since I've seen one of these anywhere. Coming up for
sale at an auction Monday, November 27, 2023. Been to quite a few of their auctions, they usually
take over the phone bids. I'm not associated with this auction house in any way nor am I receiving
any benefits for informing others of this very rare car. More pictures on the website.

(27,615 posts)1. Reminds me of a Nash Rambler
Compact cars ahead of their time.

(19,703 posts)2. Just read an article about these cars
It stated they were comparable to a '60 Ford Falcon for wheelbase and weight, so yes
"Compact cars ahead of their time" ...

(27,615 posts)8. I once had a '62 Mercury Comet
which was essentially a Falcon with cosmetic differences. It held up OK.

(19,703 posts)5. Many were made into gassers because of their light weight.

Gassers were so entertaining. Wheel stands galore

Old Crank
(4,889 posts)6. Not overly expensive
Some go for well under $10,000 running in good condition.
One previous owner said becarefull with checking out the suspension mounting points. If rusting it gets pricey to fix.
Nice little car.
KS Toronado
(19,703 posts)9. I read they were a uni-body
So their suspension mounting points would be critical. Also read they got 28 mpg, that was
really ahead of their time.
Old Crank
(4,889 posts)11. That is what i read also
Rusting in unibody was a problem until the late 70s I believe.
Something you would want to inspect and not buy sight unseen.
