NHL conference finals are set

In the East, it's the well-rested Carolina Hurricanes vs. the Montreal Canadiens.

In the West, the Colorado Avalanche take on the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

It's the final four! Action starts tomorrow night in Denver.

Although I am happy Montreal beat Buffalo... just imagine - if Montreal beats Carolina (probably unlikely)...
and Colorado beats Vegas...

It'll be the Avs versus the Habs for the Stanley Cup!

That Buffalo-Montreal series seemed like the worst goalies ever. No lead was safe, they only blocked the bottom of the net. Of course the pace was torrid with the young teams and goals deflected by friendly players were common.

Poor Buffalo, Lindy Ruff tried again, what 18 years as coach?
