Oh my, Deion Sanders coach of the Colorado Buffalos just kick arse.

and beat the Horned Frogs. Highlights were fun to see. How do we all feel about Prime Time being a coach????? And they play Nebraska next week…..could be fun.

He was always cocky and sure of himself, but he backed it up most all of the time. I liked him as a baseball player, because I'm just not into football but my husband thought he was a great football player, too.

But I see his point in leaving for "bigger things" also. It's kinda hard not to.

which scarcely is mentioned anymore because of Sander's celebrity. CSU is Not a strong football program, by any means, but "Coach Prime" has sucked all the oxygen out of the room and the media reporting on them

'take the name and ride it to fame' beats a planned program to improve a program through any other 'system.'
Quick headlines - overload of coverage - who cares if the 'program' is actually better - you got the media attention and $$$.

You couldn't make up an ending like that.

Regardless of their final record, they're going to be fun to watch this season.

I was cheering for CU. I’m guessing back when the schedule was set the Buffaloes of 2022 had a 1 win and 11 loss season if I remember correctly and would be a lay up for TCU. I dislike the first game of the season when most of the better teams all play a team they are suppose to crush and we see scores like 65 to 0 or 48 to 3. Didn’t quite work out that way for TCU.

While the overwhelming scores against much lesser schools can be obnoxious, I can forgive it if the ranked schools play about their entire roster--for the experience-- from first tier to fourth or so. Some did yesterday (e.g., UGA). Others seemed just about driving up a score to make a point at the expense of the lesser team. Unseemly and stupid, IMO.

The only other benefit I can think of is the underdog team probably gets a big payday for being on national tv.
