They now do a “Manning Cast” for Monday night football. It is a talk show on top of a football game. Maybe they’re doing the same for tennis? You might be able to find the original version on another ESPN channel.

I can't even watch baseball sometimes. Three chatterboxes in the booth yammering about things like what kind of pizza they like and then they mic up players and umpires and managers to capture their verbal diarrhea, too.

And don't get me started on Chris Fowler, completely unqualified to broadcast Grand Slam tennis.

It’s the same with matters news on cable.

I’m so glad they let Jeff Van Gundy go. He was notorious for that sort of thing.

And not justnUS sports- it’s just as bad with cricket

Once it's over sports talk or commentary is meaningless.

Yet, they think people are desperate for it.

And they program HOURS of it.
