When DU last heard from rapper Sammie "Blac Youngsta" Benson, he was accusing Atlanta cops of trying to arrest him simply because he was a black man who had just withdrawn $200K in cash from a bank for the purchase of a Maybach Mercedes:
But it was subsequently revealed that: he'd actually had $70K drawn from his manager's account; he had never entered the bank and did not an account there; the bank had called the cops about a black man with a forged $24,000 check; and that after a very brief detainment, Youngsta and his $70K were released with an apology and without charges.
Apparently, it was just a coincidence that Youngsta was outside a bank with $70K he got from elsewhere while someone was inside trying to steal $24K. And apparently, he is now right in the middle of another coincidence!
Blac Youngstas lawyer maintains that his client did indeed rent a van discovered to be part of the shooting, but it had been stolen...."I aint see nothing, I aint do nothing, Blac Youngsta told news cameras as he turned himself in...He added, Its obvious somebody ratting. Somebody snitching.
Blac Youngsta...is from Memphis and affiliated with Yo Gotti, also from Memphis and who has a beef with Young Dolph...(Youngsta) rented a van in North Carolina...(that) just happened to get stolen and used by people who were gunning for Young Dolph. Thats one hell of a coincidence. Best of luck with that defense.

who was able to bond out (most likely with the help of his label owner Yo Gotti):
Let's just hope it doesn't end up being his farewell performance.
