Zach Witkoff, the son of U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and co-founder of the Trump familys cryptocurrency company World Liberty Financial, was taken into police custody on New Year's Day 2022 after a fight at Miami nightclub E11even, and officers say they discovered a bag of cocaine in a search of his pockets, reported The Newsground.
Witkoff was charged in the incident with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and felony possession of cocaine.
Miami-Dade County records show Witkoff posted bond within days and entered a written plea of not guilty on Jan. 3, 2022, but the matter never proceeded to trial after prosecutors voluntarily dropped the felony cocaine charge and one count of resisting arrest.
