What do you think happened to Brian Shaffer?

I think he either had an accident in the nearby construction or possibly someone ran over him in a car and disposed of his body somewhere.

one, his body is still in the building. Possible, but unlikely.
Two, he met with foul play and no camera caught it somehow.
Or he ran away. It's like Maura Murray. Here, then gone
