Justice Department Recovers $30 Billion in Fraud & Discrimination in 2012 But There's More

Last edited Tue Dec 11, 2012, 06:41 PM - Edit history (1)

The US Justice Department in the last year recovered nearly $5 billion in False Claims Act cases (mostly drug companies) in the 2012 and $25 billion from mortgage home lenders for discrimination. However, reports suggest that quality of care fraud and most Medicare Fraud waste and abuse continues.

Also, government whistleblower complaints about government spying on us have gone " target="_blank">unaddressed by the department so good year or bad year for Justice Department?

The US is ranked 19th in perceived corruption.
