so to enter the dying time as entropy winds down
with barely enough light to see the final moments
chaos has become a design where all must drown
brightness turned to blight evenness to imbalance
once the door was blocked now it gaps wide open
an eternal stretching hallway continues to infinity
the last mystery unlocked a final promise broken
curled huddled in a crawlway bereft of an identity
now nothingness lies behind blackness lies ahead
helpless lost from sensation as whispers of echoes
divide prayers from sublime tears which are bled
into an unknown destination dodging evil arrows
the first shaft bites the flesh and the soul screams
watches as the devils thresh and the angels dream
