If it's not fresh, it's not quite a poem for me.

Poetry is both a puzzle for me. My thinking can be very concrete which, more often than not, makes poetry a struggle. Sometimes, such as this, it just sits perfectly and feels so comfortable. Maybe it's the freshness. Thanks for the gift

I keep them short to make them happen in much the same way that I read aphorisms rather than big, all encompassing philosophical systems.
