1Q84?

"1Q84" --it may have been discussed here before but I am just now reading it. It's very strange and surreal which I have a high tolerance for. Did anybody else read the whole enchilada? Feel free to say whatever you think about it. I have no dog in the debate, just interested in reactions.

and also After Dark, which I loved (my daughter, my wife and I all love Murakami).

Fascinating, moving, complex, surreal....and it make one think - what else can be asked of a book?

I think Kafka may be my favorite of the three, but they are all worthwhile

...even though it's slow-moving, somehow it draws you in. Like down the rabbit hole...

Thanks for the rec--I'll read that one next.
