Has anyone read "Leonardo's Swans" by Karen Essex?

I want to hear from some others here before I get it at the library.

I am just starting "The Forgery of Venus" by Michael Gruber. I love novels about art.

I'm just not too fond of getting a bunch of books and lugging them home and then back CTyankee Jan 2013 #2

But I'm curious about the book you're reading now by Michael Gruber. Let us know if it's any good.

Gruber was a ghost writer for Robert Tanenbaum until several years ago. The books he authored were terrific and since he left, the series has gone downhill.

I wouldn't worry about the library - every week I request a few, read a few pages and and take it right back. They like to be kept busy and I think the books enjoy an outing and it impresses the books around them on the shelf..

without getting something out of it!

Actually, I have such a nice neighborhood library I love to go in and read the art books (which are often too heavy for me to take home anyway). It's so quiet and the librarians just love to help you find stuff.

You are SO considerate of the books' feelings...now I feel bad that I am not as considerate...
