This is the last book published in the Hamish Macbeth mystery series which takes place in the Scottish Highlands.

It is the 28th in the series (so far). It hasn't taken that long to do the entire series because the books are somewhere between 200 and 250 pp in length, and once you know the characters, reading is effortless and a pleasure.

Book 96 of 2012 for me....

I got up to page 25 last night and decided that I don't want to go thru the whole book trying to figure out this lady's problem.

It just reminded me too much of a Lifetime movie - actually, all Lifetime movies. Bad husband driving wife crazy then trying to murder her..

I know several of you liked this but I found what little I read painful and don't think I'll continue with it.

Only thing I liked on Lifetime was Golden Girls...

Book 97 of 2012.
