Related: About this forumhas anyone here read Peter Hoeg, in particular Borderliners ...
I've kept my copy by my chair for the past year since I've enjoyed certain passages I'd seek out for rereading at times.... recently I decided it had sat there too long and closed it and put it ☹️ somewhere ... frustrated now I can't find it... but in a house w/ literally 1000's of books and not enough places to shelve them, I'm not surprised 😝... I'll find it eventually
but just curious, did you read it and enjoy it?
I've read some of his other works, but this one has always been my favorite, and I especially was intrigued with his discussions on time which other reviews found difficult or not helpful to the story...

(923 posts)I read it years ago, but really enjoyed it. Read some of his others afterward, but didn't find them quite as compelling.

to my must read list
just curious, how old an imaginarygirl were you when you read Borderliners?
in thinking of lending it to my 16 yr old step-grandson, he's intelligent and a bit quiet but intuitive ...

Good question. I think I was late 20s or early 30s. (My username is a play on the Cure's song "three imaginary boys" . You might have him try it and if the writing style is not appealing just now, he could wait and try again later.
