Nearly three decades in the making, the First Americans Museum opened its doors this weekend in Oklahoma City with a ceremony that included remarks from museum, city, and tribal leaders as well as a procession of delegates representing all 39 Tribal Nations in the state of Oklahoma.

Amazing exhibitions that are correctly worded portraying an accurate history of the Native Peoples of this land. I have family members who were there yesterday for the sold-out opening of this fantastic building.

I have been to the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. It is all Native American and Western art that is beautiful and amazing. We couldn't even get through it all in a day. I did spend a ton of money in the gift shop.
