(4,557 posts)All the responses! Unfortunately, I dont think all the anti-glare glasses In the world could stop the piercing light that comes from those new LED headlights. They are blinding and should be against the law. I wonder how many accidents they have caused?

The LED lights may save lives, but they are absolutely blinding to me. If I have to drive at night I keep it to about a five block radius.

Had some eye surgery about 8 years ago and now have a problem with floaters.

(72,531 posts)... difference!!! Almost too good, the new lens is made of an extremely clear acrylic. Now I have to use sunglasses when I drive on any kind of sunny day. But night driving is amazing. The LED head lights are no problem. Besides we learned in Drivers Training to not look into oncoming headlights.
The floaters are still there. Just a bit clearer. I see little things running around at night, sometimes. Every once in a while I see a "witch" moving in the lower outside corner of my right eye.
I have a friend who had some removed somehow, but I'm so used to them it really doesn't bother me.

(38,039 posts)Doc said the floaters can be removed. They drain all the fluid in the eye ball and replace it. Didnt go into detail. Sounds scary.
