Could a bus driver refuse to let someone on the bus because of his "sincerely held religious beliefs, philosophical beliefs, or matters of conscience."

African Americans were made to sit in the back of the bus because of that kind of thinking.

If businesses are allowed to discriminate based on those values and they will deny people services or goods based on their sexual preferences, then maybe they are in the wrong business and who is to stop them from using those "beliefs" on anyone else?

Yes, I know that businesses, in a sense, have a right to refuse customers, however, we can all assess that as a matter of behavior, proper dress, etc. When we get to this red line again, that is unconscionable and unacceptable.

That bill is inherently dangerous in many ways.

No government assistance of any kind, state or federal, for anything. No FEMA, fire, police, nothing. And officers can't moonlight for them doing security or whatever either. And they have to post their policies on the premises and on their website (prominently) so people know to boycott their bigoted butts.

If those businesses so strongly believe that gay marriage goes against their "sincerely held religious beliefs, philosophical beliefs, or matters of conscience" then they are in LUCK!

They can choose not to get married to someone of the same sex!!!

But no they should not get the right to discriminate against OTHER people for not following THEIR religious views.
