There was a very good movie about 12 years ago starring Tom Cruise as Col. Von Staufenberg, the main force behind the plot.

I intended to do a post on the 'other D- Day,' Liberation of Southern France in summer 1944, and the plot, a few months ago but got swept up in campaign season. Thanks for posting.
