He said no. I was listening on a handheld radio with an ear piece plugged in. A fellow student was getting code from her husband on her pager. When I heard the first one I was sure I’d misheard it. I turned around and she shook her head No and made a flat horizontal line with her hand.

The professor was pretty pissed because the class basically stopped.

I’ll never forget that.

And the families sure as hell did. I will never get over it and I was a mere onlooker a thousand miles away.

either nullifying their assessment of the evidence or they honestly didn't find the evidence to be "beyond a reasonable doubt".

In any case, remember that Simpson wasn't found INNOCENT. You can't prove innocence in a court of law.
