In 2009, US Airways Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger ditched his Airbus 320 in the Hudson River after a flock of birds disabled both engines; all 155 people aboard survived, and more events that happened on this day in history.

was fiction and absolutely unfair to the NTSB.

edit: deleted a sentence here because I can’t remember what I was thinking. the sentence didn’t have enough detail to help me remember.

It was Clint Eastwood pushing his anti-government right wing agenda.

It seems to be a pattern with him, setting up straw men that he then "argues" against.

Remember him "debating" the empty chair at the 2012 Republican National Convention? As if he ever could or would face President Obama in an actual one on one debate. He did the same thing here. A phony representation of evil Washington bureaucrats that his heroes destroy in debate/ Except, of course, none of that ever happened.

The re-enactment of the crash was riveting, otherwise the film is right wing swill.

I wonder why Tom Hanks went along with this. Maybe he didn’t have time to think
