Within two weeks they bonded.

This is Elsa sleeping on her back , toe beans out, feeling completely secure next to our older cat Dickens.

They do everything together now. Dickens used to have another cat which passed recently. After her death, he started acted differently. Cats can grieve the loss of a close partner.

Since we got Elsa who showed up on our back porch, he is back to his normal goofy self.

I’ve always heard that when getting a new kitty (and if we already have one), we gotta give them two weeks to work out any kinks and establish a smooth relationship — looks like Dickens and Elsa are on their way to many happy times together!!

Glad for you ALL!!
