in a "pay-attention-to-me" sorta way. The sneakers are my beloved Stan Smiths....been wearing them since the 70's. Not the same pair, of course. When Skippa was a puppy, he gnawed both heals and the tongue. Sneakers never forgave him of that transgression.

I thought you were going to tell me you were wearing the same sneakers since the '70's.
That would be a reason for doggie to go after them.

Goldens are such sweet dogs.
I used to have them, but then ended up with little Maltese doggies, easier to handle.

These days, we are best buds.

Sweet girls.

Not as sweet as a golden however.

They are safely locked away.

A playmate!

Someone who can match his energy level.

He says he's not ready for the added responsibility.
