I don't know what the boys are staring at but Carys is keeping an eye on me. I'm just glad to see her joining the boys.

the boys are looking at, she's apparently there for the company. That's a good sign of feeling part of the group.

She might like being near Arthur because he is closer to her age. They are both still "kids" compared to the adults.

The boys all have that super alert and focused look that cats get when they're tracking prey, err, watching wildlife.
