Gwen loves to sleep on my lap or shoulder but she is learning that snuggling up to one of the big kits is lovely, too. Maybe it's Merlin's powerful magic.

I hope she and Carys can develop a bond.

(27,864 posts)It was love at first sight. And heartbreak, given the situation.

that it takes me about 30 seconds to fall hopelessly in love with a kitten. Some smartass replied, How come so long?
I may have severely underestimated the time.
Oops - I obviously meant overestimated.

(6,372 posts)Shadow to Cuddles and Petunia, I understand the worry and anxiety that goes with it, but man, when they all come together and it goes well, there are so many tear worthy moments ahead.
That's tears of Joy that is.
SQUEEEEEE indeed Siswan, Thank you.

(2,909 posts)It's marvelous (and wonderful!) how quickly the other kid cats have accepted Gwen into the fold.
My Martini and Holly were in the same enclosure at Petsmart, adopted together and have lived together for over 14 years and Holly STILL hasn't fully accepted Martini. She tolerates her at times and ignores her the rest of the time. I wanted two cats who would eat together, play together, sleep together, be each other's best friend but I got two cats who lead two entirely separate lives. I love them just the same anyway.

I can't wait to see what Gwen's coat is like when she gets older. It looks super thick and plushy now. I wonder how floofy she's going to be.
