I had ordered seeds for the nicotiana perfume variety and carefully started them from seed. The description promised highly fragrant flowers. They bloomed in only two months from seed but have no fragrance at all. If I had bothered to read reviews from around the Internet instead of the sellers description, I would have known that.

(15,210 posts)But I like nicotiana for its fragrance. I used to grow the sylvestris variety at the last house and it would make you swoon with delight when it released its scent in the evening. It takes a lot more space, but I think Ill go back to it.
