The leaves are disturbingly close to pot, but connected at the base. It's a good month ahead of schedule this season. Damn near everything is. A rabbit dug up a "new potato" but obviously didn't like the taste based on the nibble marks.

(and LOL b/c I have about nine barely-germinated plants and I am already thinking about how to eat them!)
