Related: About this forumWise ones... is my kale edible when moths have been eating it?
Cabbage white moth has been devouring my beautiful dino kale.
I just cut all of it back. I am washing the leaves and rinsing off eggs and tiny green worms.
Uck!
I have a large harvest, but so chewed up. I had covered the kale with a white garden blanket and was shocked to see the destruction instead of protection underneath.
Can the kale be eaten? I have searched online and can't find anything about it be edible or not.
Thank you!
UPDATE: The first batch was washed very carefully, and turned into tasty kale chips. So far, we have not showed signs of moth eating disease. Ha!
