I'm finally reaching that point where I'm picking dinner's ingredients from my garden

The first of the sweet bell peppers is finally ready to pick. I was afraid to wait much longer because when ever I say 'I'll give it another day' some critter takes advantage. I found a perfect sized zucchini AND enough grape tomatoes to throw together something tasty. I took some salmon out of the freezer and just so happened to buy fresh parmesan cheese this morning. I'm debating between linguini and angel hair pasta. The only thing left to pick is some fresh basil from the herb garden. And, yes, that's my home grown garlic.

The San Marzano and Marinara tomatoes are starting to get a blush so I anticipate that very soon I will cooking up some great sauce to put in the freezer.

we've had to travel during the spring and as a result our garden has taken a hit. But we still have a nice producing raspberry. And a parsley plant that has become a tree!

But lost just one branch from the pear tree. Lots of windfall but still plenty of fruit on the branches. I love picking a pear and eating it while it's still warm from the sun.

I just came in with a basket of tomatoes, zucchini and peas. I live with two zucchini haters so I’ll have it all to myself.

So it’s all for MOI!

I love being able to go out to the garden and pick fresh lettuce and tomatoes
for a salad.

I love to slice up a bowl of fresh tomatoes, cukes, a bit of onion, and drizzle with homemade Italian dressing… I could eat that all day!

Getting to make salads with the bounty. Yours look so beautiful! Looks like the ingredients for a fresh pasta dish.

Sorry about your tree(s) saw the mess in the yard the other day, good job picking up. At the time was a little envious of all your rain…we have had very little until last night and today, yea!

Our peppers are a little late got battered by cold and wind early in season, reason for the greenhouse next spring. This is the third year for abnormal wind conditions.
