People hate them (Lubbers) as they have voracious appetites and can decimate an ornamental in hours.
I don't mind them (eat and let eat, eh) and the colors are just incredible.

While our eyes are glued to the Petrie Dish of Slime that is the Republican Party, theres a whole beautiful world of nature out there that we can forget about. Lets smell the roses and watch the grasshoppers, too!!

That said, one or two grasshoppers are welcome. Dozens is when I start taking Louis B. Mayhem on foraging expeditions in the garden. Louie calls them "Kitty Klondikes" after the delicious ice cream treat hiz Mom enjoys so much.
