As long as you don't use pesticides the blossoms are sweet and crunchy and make a spectacular garnish.

and some people around here treat them like weeds and pull them up! Can you imagine? I also love cowslips and bluets, which my husband assures me are invasive species and should be eradicated, but I love 'em, and there shall be no mowing until they are done.
