Related: About this forumI tried coco-cola on a very slow (not stopped up) bathtub drain and it worked well.
Once the water drained out I pulled out all the hair and crap I could get. Dumped in a 2-liter bottle room temp coke, let it sit and followed up with hot water. Your results may very.
There sure was a lot of foaming a fizzing going on. I may not drink that stuff again.
edit to add: that was a $1.99 fix.

(9,533 posts)Pour a cup down a sluggish drain, let it sit half an hour, pour boiling water down the drain.
It will eat anything you’ve got in there.
Not sure what it’s doing to the pipes.
