Well, managed to get through lunch yesterday with the MAGAts without resorting to fisticuffs. There was a close moment when one of them mentioned they paid for a subscription to Fox News Nation. I could feel the words,“ You mean you paid to be lied to?” forming, but I managed to stop them.
Another close call was when one of them said that Gavin Newsom allowed a sex offender to have both Internet and a cell phone. On that one I said, I seriously doubt that because prisons do not allow Internet.
Also, can you imagine Gavin Newsom getting involved in giving a sex offender Internet? Even interfering in prison arrangements is ridiculous. Way below his pay grade.
for years and years. Despite our differences, I think we accomplish good pay and conditions for the teachers we represent. They are well aware of my thinking on the uselessness of Fox. I appreciate the empathy, though. 
One time I went to one of their houses. When I walked in the front door, this huge, and I mean huge, TV screen had Fox on. It was overpowering! I never saw such a huge TV screen.
When I got in the door, she said to her son, "I told you to shut Fox off because (me) was coming over." LOL.
