Your post reminds of something irisblue - Agatha Christie or Dorothy Sayers..? Agatha Christie. At Bertram’s..
It was a Miss Marple mystery and she liked their soft-boiled eggs.

I always like descriptions of food in books.

Was the name of my neighbor and good friend’s bulldog. 😍

Came over to see me often, but mostly we just hung out in the breakfast room.

And honey-vanilla Greek yogurt.

Also avocado toast with turkey bacon.

Hot tea. It is cold here this am.

I have never had it. I had left the US by the time it became a part of generational culture wars .

I’m thinking I’ll put purple Empress cherry tomatoes on it with olive oil.
I use 21 seed whole grain bread, toasted in the air fryer.

But..my brain’s subconscious maybe is in overdrive lately and keeps making not broken patterns out of information - the lefty sites I read-DU, Salon Mag, Current Affairs, some Substack writers (Yasha Levine, Lucien Greaves, Matt Stoller) but sometimes even random sites.

I tried to sort of understand it and then realized that science or not, some things perhaps should make sense while remaining mysterious.

I sort of wanted to organize it better. But maybe it is enough sometimes that things make rough sense without making exact sense. And that is a more feasible organizational goal.
