What's for Dinner, Fri., April 17, 2026

Big tossed green salad with shrimp and cold chicken breast slices. All the veggies like zucchini, cucumber, radish, cherry tomato, red onion, gold, red, and orange pepper slices, celery, and avocado. Sliced homegrown onions, green.

Tonight I'll get to go out to my garden and for the first time, cut off a few lettuce leaves.: oak leaf lettuce and mustard greens. The other lettuce I had to buy at the farmer's market; it's red tip. But I can also cut celery leaves from the garden!

Over the top will be fried shallots.

Dressing is olive oil/lemon vinaigrette. Homemade croutons from artisan bread.

Kombucha: cherry.

Dessert: Already had it, so nuttin'.

Steelhead trout sauteed in pepper infused oil, butter, liquid smoke and and spices, fresh asparagus roasted with onions, garlic bulbs, and some leftover over stuffed mushrooms I sliced in. and rice. Happy Friday!

The orange slices, and grapes were an added attraction that tasted great. I smothered my salad with ranch dressing.

Good Evening

with roast cubed sweet potato, corn and red beans. We passed maple syrup and also a vinaigrette with lime juice to have over it. Mr. Cairycat's dessert is coffee almond fudge ice cream; mine will be an "Everything But the Bartender" cosmo from Trader Joes.
