What's for Dinner, Sun., March 29, 2026

Chili and cornbread.
The chili has ground beef, onion, celery, and kidney beans. On top, I like to put a little sour cream and grated Cheddar cheese. Cornbread is muffins.

Kombucha: unflavored.

Possibly a baby arugula salad.

Dessert: Cherry mascarpone strudel. Decaf.

Zucchini, yellow squash, onion, garlic, & snap peas.

Chili sounds great!

Enjoy!

6. Pulled pork

Pulled pork from some saved in the freezer with some Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue sauce and bread and butter pickle chips.
Served on a potato slider bun
There is still some salad in the 'fridge, I will see if it is still appetizing.

TJ is off to work soon, so it's bachelor party night. We'll party just as we please. The usual is first some lap sitting, and then to curl up somewhere about an hour after dark and sleep.

7. Breakfast Burritos

Sautéed chopped onion, red bell pepper, minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. When soft I added enough Just Eggs plant-based egg substitute to equal 6 eggs and a couple chopped vegan sausage patties. After the eggs solidified I spread the mixture on lavash flat bread slathered with balsamic-walnut dressing and rolled the lavash into a burrito. Drizzled more dressing on top before eating. Cheese!🥂
