Later today after my morning tea, I expect we will have eggs and sausage and toast, then more tea.

(141,926 posts)Brioche is a classic French bread known for its rich, tender crumb and slightly sweet flavor, thanks to its high butter and egg content. To make his decadent French toast, Chef John DeLucie starts with thick slices soaked in a mixture of eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a touch of cinnamon. This process ensures that the bread becomes infused with flavor and wonderfully custardy when griddled. He serves a hearty portion with sweet mixed-berry compote and tangy, creamy mascarpone cheese (cream cheeses Italian cousin), whipped with maple syrup and cinnamon. It all adds up to the perfect treat-yourself weekend breakfast. Mimosas optional, but strongly encouraged.
(not for a month, however!!!!!)

(40,382 posts)Back on my property I had three huge black cherry trees that blew over during a spring storm. I been cutting, and splitting firewood before winter sets in. Getting too old to do this.
Good Morning 🌞

(40,382 posts)are not interested in just a few trees. They want to come in and destroy your woods, and pay you a little bit of nothing. My black walnut trees are valuable too, but again it's the same story.

I'll eat later, likely cold cereal with fruit, but it is almost oatmeal weather..
