It's almost 3:00 am and I've got insomnia. Too many thoughts rattling around in my skull. The monkeys are jumping from ear to ear.

Time for a midnight snack! I just made a cheese sandwich with Dutch emmentaler. While enjoying it, I'll read a little then hopefully get a few more hours of sleep.

Having some oatmeal and blueberries now.

Beautiful colors at dawn reflecting off the snow cover. It is cold out there, 14 F when TJ left predawn to take the pup in for a checkup. An hour after sunrise it has only warmed up 2 degrees and the sun is hiding.
