I'm not making dinner tonight because I'm making so many things with my garden bounty. I'll just munch along the way:
--zucchini crust pizza
--starting my first batch of kimchi. Headed to the Asian grocery to get dashi and dried shrimp
--probably Ina Garten's Brussels sprouts with balsamic
Also I'm flavoring this round of kombucha with fresh raspberries.
Lotsa' work!

(23,477 posts)We had dinner at our neighbor’s the other night. Nadya is a widow who is full of life and good humor and she’s an awesome chef. She made a beef stew with a Latvian twist and gave us the left overs. With mashed potatoes and a tomato & cucumber salad, it’ll be delicious!

(24,734 posts)And turned it into salsa seafood. We ate the chicken, but there was still a lot of sauce and rice left. I added steamed flounder and some shrimp, that cooked quickly in the sauce.

(1,791 posts)running the oven of course! Homemade pizza and then apple crisp for dessert. Salads with local vegetables too.
I put half bread flour and half AP flour in the crust, it came out nice and crunchy.
