EDIT: Did buy mango, peach and nectarine yesterday, so may try fruit. (ALREADY had dessert, small coffee ice cream, so clearly things messed up here!)

seared scallops, mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, texas toast and Moose Tracks ice cream for desert.

(43,244 posts)the first two posters on the dinner thread have no idea what they're eating tonight. I know I picked a beautiful young zucchini from our garden this morning, so probably include fried zucchini.
Lots of fresh lettuce, so probably have a nice garden salad. What else? Whatever I can find.

It has the usual veggies - potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion.

However, I made scones this afternoon, mostly for later breakfasts, but we'll probably have a couple for dessert. Re-typed the recipe (which I've been using for a while) as one of my 'General Rule' recipes. And we have some strawberries we need to use, which will go well with the scones as a kind of shortcake.
